Every week I write the Trashbaggery gossip column for Lifelounge.com. It always takes waaaay longer than I expect and I’m usually usually trying to find an appropriate cover image at 3am or something stupid like that. This week’s lead item was about Jessica Alba being a crap cook / fondling Kate Hudson at a movie premier Naturally, I wanted a pic of Jess to accompany the column. While there are millions thousands of photos of her online, a lot of them aren’t as awesome as you would expect. Jessica Alba is super hot (fact) and you can’t just use a photo of her looking ‘okay’. That’s lazy journalism.
I spent 30 minutes looking for the PERFECT image (above). By the time I had cropped and resized it, uploaded the rest of the column and blah, blah, blah it was 3:50am… I had to be up at work in three hours. Three Goddamn hours! Anyway, this is the full image. Believe it comes via FHM UK.

The DGPH folks have a show opening at Gallery 1988 (San Francisco branch) this week. Here’s a little sample.
Takayoshi Mizuki’s is a Japanese illustrator best known for his monster illustrations. A bunch of his old images recently surfaced online and we’ve put together an update about those for Lifelounge.com. In the meantime, here’s an example of his work for Toyota circa 1970. We’d say something about them being ‘awesome’ but tha’s just stating the obvious.
